When our ideal for ourselves and for our children becomes limited to prosperity and comfort, we get these, very likely, for ourselves and for them, but we get no more. - Charlotte Mason

Informational Meeting this Saturday
There will be an informational meeting this Saturday at 2:00 in Maple Grove for interested families. If you would like to join us, send me an email at info@rivertreeschool.org and I will send you the details.
RiverTree School will be opening in the Fall of 2009 for students in kindergarten through sixth grade then expanding year by year through 8th grade. We will be using the Charlotte Mason method of education. We are located on the campus of Brooklyn Park Evangelical Free Church in Brooklyn Park, MN. RiverTree School will provide a Christian education. For more information send an email to:
This is a space where we can think out loud about education as we prepare for the opening of RiverTree School. It also is a place where parents can learn more about our approach to education and get a feel for what RiverTree will be like. Eventually, this blog will become a part of the school's website and will be a major part of our communication with parents. Until the website is ready, however, this blog will hold the URL in its place.
Jeremiah 17:7-8
But blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him.
He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.
